Wai Lim manages Trigger Design, a product and experience design consultancy in Singapore since 2015 As a designer, Wai Lim is constantly driving for fresh, clever and surprising elements in her design process that trigger emotional connection between the user and the objects. She believes in craftsmanship and a good design story behind every design.
Her work reflects her personality of being positive, bold and confident. After graduating from Temasek Polytechnic with product design in 1999, She started her career in design consultancies like Design Exchange G.E. Fitch & Monogram. She joined Dell Experience Design Group in 2005. Her works include lifestyle products, consumer electronics, medical devices, computer ecosystem solutions and furniture design. She won local and global recognitions like the President Design Award Singapore, IF award, Best of CES, Red Dot Design Award and IDSA Silver.
