More often than not, spaces allocated to the non-living are the first to be tackled. From land burial, to columbarium, housing for the dead have been facing a phase of elimination all over the world, not to mention a tiny, landscarce island like Singapore. Situated at the heartland, the Ying Fo Fui Kuan Hakka cemetery is one of the many victimized locations. Together with the identity of the Hakka clan and rich traditional Chinese culture, this heritage jewel will be eventually be evicted out of the urban landscape by 2067.
