With heavy input from trained counselling professionals, the Samaritans of Singapore (SOS)’s rebranding inspires continued confidence in SOS as a safe and reliable organisation that is ready to help individuals at risk of or affected by suicide, be it through its offline or online platforms. The UNESCO City of Design Singapore identity shares the country’s accomplishment with designers and non-designers using a common visual vocabulary, like the five stars in reference to the national flag and the symbolic colour choice of red. Every conversation starts with a greeting so in Yio Chu Kang (YCK) Community Club’s new brand identity, the homophone ‘Yio’ is incorporated with the symbol of a sun to convey the warmth in the YCK community. In an age when reliance on the digital grows with each passing day, the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore’s Singapore Cyber Landscape 2016 & 2017 informational booklets is an easy-to-understand tool for readers to protect themselves and strengthen the country’s cyber security profile. The SP Engineering Open House was an expo-like event that showcased the exciting possibilities and prestige in this course of study, shedding the connotation that engineering was only attractive as a stable career choice.
