The Grey Matter was conceptualised as a retail clothing store with vintage aesthetics to attracts teenagers to Bras Basah Complex. To complement the Complex’s history as an old arts hub, the space doubles as a consignment shop where artists can rent a space and sell their works. The store’s industrial design reflects its interior uses.
